                            |  | Born as Kamal Nayan Chaturvedi on December 17,  1952, Vidur spent his formative years in a city called Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, India.
                             After his post graduation in English Literature from Allahabad University, Uttar Pradesh, he spent few years in his native  place Deoria doing social work. Then he moved to Mumbai, India,  in 1989. |  |

                          | During his formative years in Mumbai, he was  active on stage. His crowning glory was staging a play in Chhabildas Hall,  Dadar, Mumbai in 1990, where even legendary Shri Prithvi Raj Kapoor  |  |  |  
                      | used to  stage his plays. The play was "Kabira Khada Bazar Mein", written by  late Shri Bhisham Sahni. 
                             After this production he took a break from stage  and started his career as an acting trainer with Mr. Kishore Namit Kapoor in  1990.
 In the career span of more than 20  years, he also worked with various other acting institutes in Mumbai, Pune,  Nashik and Bengaluru. His services were hired to train aspiring actors of Stardust  Academy's two batches (Mumbai) and Zee Cinestar ki khoj - 2004 (Mumbai) too.
 But his main body of work is in  the form of personalized training.  |  |  |  |

                      | He is the first and exclusive acting trainer  of India,  who has personally trained Stars, Forthcoming Star-sons / Daughters, Models,  Celebrities, Dubbing Artistes and Theatre Personalities. 
 He has personally groomed many  Beauty Pageant participants, Air Hostesses and Chat show / Game show Anchors. Students  trained by him are working in all the departments of film making.

                          | In 2005, along with two of his  friends, Mr. Samar Jai Singh and Mr. Roopesh Thapliyal, he established "Kreating Charakters" in Mumbai,   India, an  acting institute with a difference.
 Apart from training he has  written two books also. In 2004, he co- authored the first book on acting in  Hindi, "Swayam Vadya, Swayam Vadak." Recently in 2008 he published a  booklet on Diction.

                          |  | During his 20 years long career  he has directed more than 500 diploma films of his students.
 In 2006, he co - directed a  Marathi feature film, "Bhakti Heech Khari Shakti," starring Ashok  Saraf and Alka Kubal. It was released in 2007 and got critical acclaim and  financial success.
